Different predicament for the Brumbies, who have no assets, but a ungodly chip on their shoulder.

Brumbies did a two-match tour of Japan playing Suntory and Black Rams Tokyo: https://brumbies.rugby/news/brumbies-build-rugby-connections-in-japan-20231025
Western Force were pushing hard with Global Rapid Rugby and did a pre-season tour up there: https://www.rugby.com.au/news/western-force-latest-club-to-confirm-japanese-tour-2022912

Obviously this has benefits in both the financial and playing IP areas, but it also comes down to the fact that our players just don't get enough minutes every year. If you're not a Test player, you run around a dozen times for SR, then what? Go play shitty club?
These measures, the centralisation, and some streamlining elsewhere could really help
