    Great result for Kiwis.

Some non calls from ref and missed forward passes by Kangaroos were dreadful. But no impact on game.

A Kiwis win against Aussie is such a rarity. Opportunity missed for lots of people in the Tron. Perhaps they should have played at Mt Smart?

I can't ever recall us blanking the kangaroos in a test.

When did any team do that?

    Fortress FMG eh! 🙂

We did it in 2005. 24-0. I knew in the back of my mind there was one, glad that wiki exists.

I remember we blanked the Aussies 24-0 over in England one year - 2005 Tri Nations final perhaps?

JFH's speech wasn't too bad, brevity is a good thing. 😉

@KiwiMurph Correct, and we beat them 18-0 in 1985.

Fun game from a NZ perspective. Our forwards were dominant and our back three made a lot of metres. Guessing biggest winning margin over Australia? and blanking them in a final just makes it better.

Pity about turn out, but awesome for those who did!

Really enjoyed that game. Thought that was a lovely speech from the amazing CNK.
I have been a Matt Timoko fan for a couple of years now. I suspect there will be thousands more of us after today!

Tapine was massive for us. Brown’s best game since forever.

Our two wingers just have pace and in fact our back 5 ran any Aussie kicks back with some real venom.

    Aussies looked second rate today.

I wasn’t able to watch it live had something on, but somehow without really trying managed to avoid the result, and watched a replay last night .

We were very up and full of energy , it was a bit odd , you see it sometimes in nrl but you don’t expect it from the Aussie team . Where the opposition almost concede defeat and say , I don’t think we can match this level of intensity today, and then roll over .

It’s a great kiwi team , it’s rare to have so many difficult players to tackle one on one in the same side .

To confirm, it was the third time the Kiwis have blanked the Kangaroos.

The biggest winning margin for the Kiwis over the Kangaroos, and their largest ever test loss.

Missing a good Kiwis performance too.

I guess league taking over in NZ, as the media and social media has been telling me, is a bit premature?

Whilst this is probably true I just don't think Kiwis do live sport anymore.

Apart from the All Blacks and the Wahs bandwagon there's been no crowds since forever (and I suspect the latter will falter if the cop a couple of early losses).
