New Zealand have flown Kyle Jamieson back to India after Matt Henry was ruled out, but there are other injury concerns too. In a positive development, however, the injured players Williamson (thumb), Mark Chapman (calf), Lockie Ferguson (achilles) and Jimmy Neesham (wrist) all trained in Bengaluru on Friday with New Zealand Cricket saying, "a decision on their availability will be left until game-day and likely confirmed at the toss". But it's likely that they will bring Jamieson into the XI straightaway.

    Starts in ~2hrs

A win here all but guarantees a play off spot I think. A close lose and good win over SL in our final good might also be enough, but you'd rather get the job done today.

This is a must win to avoid 4th and the tougher semi, although there's an upcoming SA India game as well that will probably determine who finishes top. I think I'd rather face SA than India in a semi despite our performances against each in pool play.

Australia have England and Afghanistan and while I would love them to lose both game (especially if Afghanistan could sneak into the fourth position), it's unlikely so probably the best we can do is fourth place.

We need to win this one to stop the rot. Not much hope if we're hobbling into the semis on the back of four losses and scraping a win over Sri Lanka.

Regardless of who wins the pool match between SA and India, I think India will be the hardest team to beat, so I'm inclined to hope SA win that one. Those two will both definitely be going all out to win that one - because playing us (or Pakistan) is a much better option than playing Oz.

Hopefully Little Kane is available today. Not sure which three seamers I'd choose if all are available. I'd maybe leave Timmy out, but I suspect they won't. Be nice if they played Big Kyle AND he lived up to his potential!

Looks like only two seamers - Ish, Chapman and Little Kane all come in.

Timmy and Trent the seam attack. Potentially five spinners (including Chapman).

Stead must think we're Bishan Bedi's Indians!!! 🙂

We'll see if that's the right call!

    We must win this game.

I think we can advance even if we lose this one, but I am getting nervous and I feel we need a statement performance to get our campaign back on track.

Great start so far. I like these 6pm games.

I heard the commentator saying that Conway was under pressure.

What's that about? Conway has not been his amazing best but he's been OK this CWC has he not?

Decent start: (a) we haven't lost early wickets to Afridi; and (b) we've got some runs on the board.

@Damo Under pressure to provide some big runs - not for his place in the side I think.

Great start vs England, but failed vs India & SA and a run of middling scores.

I guess that is another middling score. He looked to be in good nick.

Let's see if Kane can do anything.

I think Ian Smith was just being paranoid.
