A lot of European-based players have been selected.

Playing the European game does not prepare you for test rugby down south. Very few players can come down and have an immediate impact - even those who do step up take their time about it.

Selecting from outside the country is a band aid, that comes back to haunt you and weakens local rugby.
-

Van Rensburg isn't capped yet I don't think.

If SA don't want him, I'll take him...
-

Theres a guy in France who is a handy 12....don't wanna open that can o' worms!

-
-

you mean he could sign with North Otago for a few months, play a game and get an AB jersey...?

shit, i would have picked van rensburg no doubt at all.

don't want to say it's a quota thing though, as south african selections have always left me confused - eg smit, matfield etc well past their best.

It reminds me of when De Allende was on fire and they were picking Jan Serfontein on all the time.
-

With the help of Google translate, I understand from the Pumas website that debutant Marcos Kremer played with their U20s team in Manchester.

They will take a squad of 26 players to South Africa and 28 players to Australia and New Zealand.

It's the first time that every player in the squad has played Super Rugby (32 players for the Jaguares and Cubelli for the Brumbies).

By the way, I read the comments on the Argentinian Rugby Union (UAR)'s Facebook page and many Argentinian fans are quite angry about playing a home game in London.
-

I'd bet on Crotty and Fekitoa but I'd like to see Moala there or there abouts after his impressive cameo vs Wales
-

Not good enough yet according to AC, at least he will be available to smack some bitches in the CC.
-
You know mariner, that pair that sliced and diced England up the middle of the park and stopped any ball carrier in their tracks....

Kurindrani has been extremely out of form this season for both Brumbies and Wallabies. Toomua who I rate has had injury concerns so was unavailable for the start of the England series. That young Qlder did okay for a debutante but they don't yet know if he is a 12 or 13 or should play him on the wing.

As for us, I'd give Fekitoa another chance if he is fully fit, but I like Crotty at 12 and Moala at 13. -

Kuridrani is a myth. He was good for one season, a couple of years ago. For a big unit you can count his linebreaks in a year on the fingers of a careless piranha fisherman. He's not even a great line bender.

Toomua is pretty good, but has stalled while he's been injured. And they'll rissole him for Giteau anyway. No wonder he is fucking off overseas.
-

did he cop an injury that just hasn't come right or something? because he was really bloody good that one year, and has been very ordinary since.
