Nope! Hopefully, the prof can be the backroom advisor for the new group because it is very green.

Right, what’s done is done, time to look forward to next year.
I’m excited to see what Razor will do.
Who from the current mob that will still be available, who will he keep, and who has probably played their last game in black?
Someone like @Stargazer might do us a list of who’s actually staying (as I’m going purely off my poor memory below)
Props, we’re pretty well stocked with young talent. Ofa and Laulala’s spots might come under pressure.
Hooker, ST will be number 1, need a couple of young back ups to stand up in SR.
Locks, 2 of our best ever are done. Leaves Barrett as top dog, Lord and Va’ii next in line. We really need a couple of young fullas to put their hands up.
Loosies, Savea and Frizzell gone (if I remember right), I think there will be a question mark over Cane with Razor coming in. There’s a big queue of contenders who’ll need big Super seasons to stake a claim, including Papalii, Ioane, Sotutu, Finau, Jacobson, Grace, Blackadder, Harmon, Hawkes Bay fulla whose name I can’t think of, plus surely a couple of fullas not on the radar just yet.
Halfback, Nuggie leaves a big huuugge hole, obviously Roigard will be number one, but we’re in desperate need of decent back ups. Christie, no thanks.
First 5, DMac, then….. ????? Zarn Sullivan?
Midfield, Jordie, Ioane and ALB lock ins…hopefully the forgotten Chiefs man can make a comeback (can’t even remember his name).
Need to find someone who can bend/break a defensive line.
Wing we will be still well stocked with Telea, Reece, Stevenson, Narawa.
Fullback, Jordan is the obvious pick, with Stevenson and Sullivan lurking.
Really looking forward to seeing what talent Super Rugby throws at us, and what/who Razor will pick.
His first squad naming will be the most interesting squad naming in a bloody long time.
what about Lord at lock? Or that big new guy down south, Holland?

Lomax and de Groot co-captains.

Need to find a rabid nutter 6

I have high hopes for Finau. Hopefully a second season slump is avoided.

Any chance of savea moving back to 7 under Robertson?
-
I said this after the 2019 RWC exit and the loss of several players and a new coach that there would be some rocky times ahead for the ABs. So in a COVID restriction based environment we saw the roller coaster over the last 4 years.
I expect that there will be some up and down performances as new players find their place in the side.
For me lock, hooker, blindside, halfback and 1st 5 are the areas we need to find some talent and quickly.

I think the rebuilding after the 2015 cup was probably way bigger, wasn't it?
Losing McCaw, Kaino, Nonu, Conrad, and probably a few more (sorry), those were probably all World XV starters (anyone who takes O'Driscoll over Conrad has just got it wrong). Now, the locks are going to be hard to replace, but otherwise it isn't looking too bad. -

Now, the locks are going to be hard to replace, but otherwise it isn't looking too bad.The biggest issues post 2015 was the midfield and blindside. We had players but it became a revolving door because of injury and form.
Replacing McCaw was somewhat easier because Cane had served a decent apprenticeship. Not that they are like for like, but we had a player ready.
Read was still there and playing some quality footy in 2016-17.

The captain is going to be an interesting proposition
