This tournament was just a few subjective refereeing decisions away from New Zealand, South Africa and Australia all being eliminated before the semis.
Can anyone help me with the one that saw NZ scrape through?
Can only be the quarter final. Things like porter being penalised, I guess

However, you only had to look at their reaction after they ousted Ireland in the quarterfinals to recognise this - the All Blacks’ aura isn’t what it was and the players know it.
She's back

Explains the reasonable grammar then.

Aura has been found. Work underway to claim her back.

You definitely know Aura is back when UK sports hacks write this sort of stuff...
"Time, perhaps, for the All Blacks’ aura of self-righteousness to be punctured. So much of it is corporate grandstanding, not least the “rainbow streak” commercial they released in 2018 to coincide with Tokyo Pride Week."

All this time we thought aura was gone, she was living rent free in the heads of NH rugby writers

Dwayne Peel?
He could have Daid

@MajorRage without meaning to sound churlish I think the Boks have Lady Luck in their pocket rather than aura.
Not their fault but
1995 - France semi AB's sickness
2007 - Didn't face decent opposition all tournament. The closest they got was a poor England in pool play and again in the Final
2023 - Fair play France, England, NZ in the knockout is some run, but they did enjoy more than their fair share of luck. -
Boks WC achievements
- The most WC's
- 50% success rate.
- Boks never lost a WC final
- Only Boks and All Blacks could defend the title
- Only Boks could lose a pool match and win the title.
- Its the first time that a team played against the top 6 ranks team in one tournament.
- All Blacks only lost to the Boks in finals.

Sadly she didn’t make an appearance tonight.
I disagree. There were brief flashes. She's a sleeping giant right now. I'm hoping Razor can properly wake her up
Here's hoping he can finish uncovering Aura, out-do Foster and win the 2027 RWC .
