A bunch of pretty handy footballers are bringing the curtain down on their careers. Who is done now?
Obviously for us its huge names in Aaron Smith and Sam Whitelock. Beauden Barrett as well (despite delusions of coming back), Richie Mo'unga as well. Dane Coles ends a great AB career.
Eddie Jones retired all the Wallabies before the Cup
Johny Sexton is now gone, and will leave a huge hole in the Irish side
Courtney Lawes hangs them up for England, arguably the best 6 in world rugby for a long time now.
I'm sure there is heaps more.
I hope he fucks off too. Rugby is better off without him and his bullshit
Eddie was ballsy but waltzing just before the RWC AND getting rid of the experienced hands does seem a lurch towards insanity in hindsight. I wonder what the young guns in the squad think of him now.
I'm reading this thread backwards from the Split Enz puns. And this is the stage where I reached the first post where I can't tell if it is a serious post, or just a string of puns.
Damning.
I mean:
waltzing, young guns, lurch, towards insanity. These could all be Split Enz B sides I've never heard of. Or this could just be a vague waffling post about rugby. -

I have Conflicting Emotions here. Maybe it's time that I Walk Away from this Topic or Take the Next Exit.
I do wish the Enz didn't have such a large discography
It's really no bother to me....i just hope the likes of Beauden Barrett andi Sam Whitelock give it a whirl on Saturday andi leave on a high.

I can't believe we are in the final, for so much of Fozz's tenure it's felt like 6 months in a leaky boat

This is really clutching at shitty Split Enz puns
I hope I never have to see one like this again.

I'm finished here now - time to take a walk. So long for now.

Less than steady Eddie more like ( sorry, can’t do better than that, I used all my good material for enz puns )

Having second thoughts giving my mental notes in a frenzy, but despite the conflicting emotions it's time to paint my true colours: I'm somewhat spellbound by the bold as brass change in this team's success.
Also; no one will miss Keith Earls. What a fucking donkey.
