Rarely see a scrum called from a mark. Clever if you've got the dominant scrum
Interesting listening to Rassie. They identified the last time they played France that there wasn't many scrums, so they wanted to take opportunities to try to tire them and force them to move across the field, rather than their preferred option of presenting a defensive line or launching from a lineout.

DDA gets a bit of grief on here but i think he's fantastic. He gave the Irish midfield kittens, he was huge today as well. That try was good fucking work.
Jodie Barrett is effectively lanky DDA and yet he's loved.Don't see DDA kicking for touch or taking goal kicks.
This really pleased me.
Jordie did exactly what we hoped for, with extras.
Carried hard into contact straight.
Defeneded well
Kicked monster penaltiesand added to that with a try saving move that ultimately won us the game
The one extra thing I wish they'd ask him to do is kick massive touch finders when we are exiting deep in our own half

@game_film ok so who is the best player in the world?
Blackadder.
To infinity and beyond! Just don't tell him his rocket pack isn't real...

The angle no one saw. Bloody questionable.

Shoulder shuffle and forward lean
Off you go

I thought it odd at the time they did not check it, perhaps they simply did not have the footage but you would think that would be standard. Anytime someone can block a conversion surely they need to check if they were onside. I guess we will never know if he would have kicked the conversion but that is not the point. I do wonder if they will introduce the offside technology they use in soccer in Rugby when chasing kicks etc.

Whilst I know you're getting shit answers I'll try and be serious ...
... if I could take one guy from the other teams ... After long and considered err consideration...
... Etsebeth.
And that's even with our talent at lock. Not sure who I would drop though.

@booboo we should probably all get together over drinks and canap茅s and decide this in 2 weeks, no?
Fair.
But right here, right now?

Parsons at 16.13. Smith hand on ground, which BOK didn't see. Correct decision penalty France:
So we have endless replays for non-scoring events, but TMO can't tell ref he made a clear mistake? With ten to play in RWC quarter!
France only had themselves to blame for not taking that, but completely sympathise with ADP's view of reffing.

@pakman 26:22 - SA using "rolling subs". Can coaches call for an HIA via their team doctor?
World Rugby need to cut comms between team doctors and coaches. It needs to be an independent assessment so that the integrity of the sport is not compromised. Team doctors are not there tactically!
Bok coaches are not doing anything illegal, but I can't imagine this "clever thinking" will be allowed to stand post this world cup.

@pakman 2023...2007 revenge of the Kiwis
(joking if there are any French fans lurking)
NZ had a similar video in 2007 in the QF against France. I didn't hear any French players, coaches and supporters complaining about the rub of the green.
Regarding the transgressions in the video, I did agree with a fair number of them, especially the Boks sealing antics at the breakdown which I think will get them in bother on another day. I thought Etzebeth's knock back was borderline, but I thought that he was lucky to get yellow for the head contact.

have to say, i noticed most of them during the game, not just when they're slowed down. Wonder what BOK's review was like after the game, if some of that ruck work and leading with forearms was highlighted to him then i'd expect him to be stricter on both teams on Saturday. Doesn't bode well for Tuilagi...

So many misses at the breakdown from BOK to be fair
At critical times in excellent field position
