RWC Week 5: All Blacks v Uruguay

Conclusion: the RM-Dmac combo is far superior to any combo that includes BB.
Dunno. I'm a big DMac fan and find BB has fallen off a cliff, form wise but that combo starting a game makes me nervous for some reason.

If LF doesn't start next week, he should be on the bench instead of ALB.
He's more likely to miss the 23 than start
BB and Mo'unga will start
DMac will be in the bench
Havili or ALB to cover 12He should take BBs spot, but won't

Dmac and BB have looked good together as well.
Nah.
Yah

In a way, the lack of confrontation by the AB forwards and the way they let Uruguay muscle up in the mauls/breakdown at times (players standing off) kind of sums up the AB weaknesses at the moment I thought.

The Mo'unga-Beauden combo makes me nervous no matter how many times it is trotted out.

Up to minute 53 - McKenzie just made it 43-0.
Uruguay's defence has been good but the fatigue is chiming in just as the ABs start to click.
ABs reminded me of a park footy side with talented players: nobody comes to training so the first half is like a warm up, then everyone remembers how to rugby and they finish strong.

BB is making me nervous every time he plays nowadays.

Neither impresses me TBF, but RM & DMac has a higher flakiness potential for me.

McKenzie should be at 15 instead of him. It’s crazy we are persisting with BB starting
-
I’m far more worried about our forward play than our 15-10 combo. I’m very doubtful our front 8 have three big games in them against the likes of Ireland and SA.

I’ve been working and missed the game. What was the ABs’ performance like?
As expected.
Not clinical. Slow to start. Screwed by TMO early. Battled in some breakdowns. Once on top generally able to find space and score. Good with ball in hand. Need to protect ball at breakdown as per.
Result as required.

Samisoni appears to have lost his mojo. Last year he would have battered over the line from that chance
Another example of a lack of rugby.
He's had more rugby than Colesy hasn't he? Sami has seemed to have drifted off a bit this year, he wasn't really dominant in super, there wasn't a huge difference when he played for Chiefs when Slater etc played I didn't think.

Nice analogy but it ignores
If not for a couple of fine line errors we put on early points
And
How well Uruguay started the game. They played with an intensity they were never going to be able to keep up. Threw numbers at the ruck on both sides of the ball, made their tackles and were able to keep possession for long periods.
It emptied their tank though and that's where we took over. -

Sadly yeah, you are probably on the money,
I’m guessing If or when we get put out, the main talking point will be around how we got outplayed up front
