All over. A fantastic performance by England. So much Rugby smarts. Steve Borthwick’s side can take a bow!

Is this the greatest red card performance?

    Wellington 2003.

    Wilkinson...

Well done England - you're still my least fav team.

Accurate loooong kicks and lots of truly contestable kicks from England and the got a large percentage of them back. (Fossie needs to take note of that - but wont)

    Certainly a stoic performance.

    13/7 penalty count
I look forward to the predictable Chikea spray in the interviews

@Steve No one was red carded there, they were just down to 13 men for a period of time.

No against NZ. Dropped the knees into Keith Robinson.

Umagas reaction to the red was priceless.

    Spencer getting in there too.

Not many other first fives would mix it like he did back in the day.

Ah yes. Robinson flopping all over the ruck like a cheap mattress and Shaw nudging him out of the way with his knee.

How delicious would it be after that performance for England to lose to both Japan and Samoa?

A much improved defensive shift by England, backed up by a George Ford masterclass in bossing a game. Mitchell made a difference for Ford IMO. Some pretty good individual performances but in truth I didn’t see too much that makes me very hopeful. I know we were a man down but I still can’t see any discernible attack. Was this a case of Ford and Lawes saying we’re fucked, so let’s play it pragmatic but give it a lash or do we have an actual game plan for going a man down in the first 6 minutes?

Still, a mighty effort but it’s only one game. Oh and the Argies were shit.

I don’t think it’s too much of a stretch to say Farrell has been Englands biggest problem.

    Ford was Wilkinson esque today.

Not many higher compliments for an England fly half.
