@gt12 I am more critical of the tactics than personell...we were fucking dumb.
There were tactics?

Queue the over-reactions. We didn't expect to win, we have tons of injuries, no depth on the bench etc. Things didn't quite flow for us, some 50/50 moments certainly, not really sure it was a 14 point game but alas. We won't fucking lose to Italy, we'll blow them away. Chances are we take on Ireland in the QFs, which probably suits us more.
100%

I don't know mate. Lose, but lose like you know what you are doing.
That was clueless from selection table to performance.

As I said, Peyper = lottery
Second YC for being dumb as fuck

There was no dry powder.
Yes there is. We were always targeting the Italy match
😀

The reality is that this AB team is very poor. I think Italy have a chance of denying us a Quarter Final spot.
They'll have to beat the other teams by more than us OR, France deliberately lose to them.
-
Praise to the All Blacks. Proud
Roigard should have subbed on -

But it wasn't unexpected was it. Wasted energy having a fat moan about this.

I wonder if we can lose to Italy and not get out of the pool.
Foster says "hold my beer"
"Hold my pie" more likely.

One of Beaudy or Mo'unga need to be dropped.
We can't have two chip kick merchants knocking around.
Im going to smash my TV up if they do that again.
It's been happening since the last world cup.
The axis does not work.

Two people who need much greater criticism: Schmidt and Ryan.
They continue to select for and play this game.
How Ryan allowed Foster to pick all those wingers instead of the likes of Finau I'll never know.

RCIf you’re talking about Will Jordan, close the door on your way out.
He was impeded and tripped on the Frenchie who changed his line to deliberately block him.
Should be that fulla in the bin. -
New lows, interviewing fans for expert analysis of the game. Still probably better than Justin Marshall

Congrats to France. Won the game in the 2nd half.
I expected the French to win, so not too disappointed (as far as you can not be disappointed after an AB loss).
I actually expected France to be more dominant. They scored mostly off our mistakes, not because they created much.
I'd have been OK with a loss against France, but that 2nd half was rancid in every department.
-
If we lose to Italy and they only lose to France then Italy go through even if we hammer Namibia and Uruguay.

Im sick of it.
Give me Shaun Stevenson over that dross. At least he can bang a ball and has an eye for the try line.

Well done France - good commitment to breakdowns and sensible options - play for territory and look what happens.
Basic rugby acumen won and lost this game - very poor options from key players. What was Fossies plan ?….. play in our own half as much as we can?
Key areas of concern:
Exits and playing in the right areas of the field. That's why the errors came - BB in particular is a piss poor liability - Dmac any day for me, or put Jordan at 15.Clean outs were piss poor today - Ardie was average for him and shown to be light weight in contact in my opinion. Definitively need another loose forward as we had very little presence at the breakdown. And got players isolated far to much. Please let it be Blackadder.
Might be a bit of a hot take - but felt the ABs lost this more than French won it. France wont win this world cup.
Talea and Scooter our best today.
BB and tactics / options our worst. (Christie off the bench was also poor)
