Waikato v Taranaki
-
How quick is Lennox..?
-
@Steven-Harris Fast, but he was also competing with a forward. No contest.
-
@Stargazer was more about where he came from when the kick was made , everyone was pretty flat footed, picked up the spoils for a very good chase
-
@Stargazer when you consider their roster , if you were a Waikato supporter you have to be very disappointed.
Full credit to Taranaki 4 from 4 and top of the log -

@J77 Isaac Boss , fair to say he struggled
I had to laugh.. set piece became set police a few times as well
-
Very disappointed with Waikato. Poor goalkicking from Kemara was again a real momentum loser. Far too many errors in the backs. Can they please start Roe as he seems much sharper than Cortez. And I hope Mitch Jacobson is back too as his leadership is missed.
Full credit to Taranaki for taking their chances. -

@J77 the replacement lock for Taranaki Fiti Sa is a monster , loan player from Canterbury 2.03m 124kgs , only 20 reminds me of Kali Vaipulu very similar in stature and age
I think Fiti Sa is now maybe on a Chiefs development contract and not a loan player from Canterbury anymore.

A very flat performance. You can't win games when you lose so many lineouts from poor throwing, and gift tries to the opposition from basic errors. When it looked like Waikato would get themselves back into the game they would concede a quick try.
As I've said before Waikato is sorely needing some size and x-factor in the back three. Sullivan was playing out of position, but he along with LCF and Sinkinson were very poor. The one big plus was Quinn Tupaea's performance in the 2nd half.
