i get and your right....its just its the RWC so i think it would have to be unbelievably bad for someone to not be able to tolerate it for a couple of months more
I've just witness Mrs Womble get bullied atrociously for the last couple of years by her boss....but she kept going back as she couldnt find another job and we have a mortgage
-
@mariner4life I must just be lucky then, my boss is great and we have an awesome team, makes the actual work more bearable.
It would take an awful lot of money for me to stay at a job I hated with a shitty culture form the top, but do agree with the big dance so close...maybe he has had another offer and could start early?
-
@taniwharugby I would pull the pin too if I wasn’t aligned . You can take a bit of difference in style if you agree with the direction. But if you think you aren’t doing the right thing, and you’re a leader, you have to speak up and work it out. If you still can’t get alignment you have to go - however you would have thought this would have happened way earlier. They are an absolute mess.
Trouble is we are tied to them with Super rugby. If Mark Robinson thinks NPC is not fit for purpose (the totally wrong phrase to use) what would he say about Super rugby where NZRFU have bet the house?

how bad has it got to be to that you cant suck it up to go the the world cup...i'd give me left nut to go and watch let alone be part of it
This seems out of character for Eddie and his assistants.
I suggest that they're on different wavelengths and if you feel professionally you're not getting anywhere and personally diminished, leaving makes sense.

That's the key right, if you can do it without any worries then I think it's better for you. My previous job I quit because my bosses were idiots and I just hated going into work each day - this was 2 months out from us getting the equivalent or our RWC. But, for me personally that's not a way to live my life.
I assume this Aussie coach found it similar.

Eddie Jones is really feeling the pressure it seems,
you saw his press conference too? he's not wrong though, its been said on here enough that the media is only interested in a negative spin
-
Ah, they're Owen four
His squad is weird
He just lost an assistantThere isn't much spin needed
There's more coming the other way where we have gone from smashing and grabbing this world cup
To basically talking about 4 years time -
Yeah I did he wasn’t wrong be he did lose the plot at times.

To basically talking about 4 years timeAussie Rugby had become a graveyard for everyone - coaches, administrators, players. It’s living off past glories (i.e. still overly ambitious given its resources)
and needs to play a smarter long term game. Not sure Eddie is the man manager they need. -

Do you blame them? Eddie's talking about how "fantastic" things are, trying to gaslight everyone into thinking everything's "fantastic, mate", and they're quite rightly calling bullshit. Maybe if he was a bit more honest, and even humble, they might take it easier on him. He seems upset that the Aussie rugby media aren't acting as his PR agents.

@KiwiMurph
It is getting really old this BS from Eddie, people see though all the deflection shit,I saw real signs of Eddie losing the plot in this interview, he is to easy to wind up by the media now they pushing him to bite. This shit from Eddie I have been watching for years but he looks rattled now.
