Otago v Wellington

@Canes4life I don't think they'll drop Morgan if he's fit.
To be honest, I think Morgan is passable at NPC level. He's not the worst 10 floating around.

Well I wonder who will run over Hurley this week
I see what you did there. Bit early though don't you reckon.

They did last year but they had a (much) better alternative in JGB. This years there's no obvious replacement. Shame as passable at NPC level is not good enough to win the trophy.
I would give Love a run at first to see how he goes. I think he's a better fit at FB though

Big game for me, sitting in the Hutt supporting my boys in the blue and gold!
-
We are defending well so far.
-
We need some ball
-
Man there is some ball movement in this game. Lions strike first through Peter Lakai.
-
Why the did we take Hauiti-Parapara back? He’s so slow at clearing the ball.
-
Siale Lauaki looking very good in the 3 jersey. Scrumming well, defending strongly and very good with ball in hand. I’m glad the Canes have signed him already.
-
Hurley has some nice touches. Disappointing he is such a midget
-
Shit wee have put in some tackles. Got some work to do
-
Hugely impressed with our performance so far. Defence is attitude. We are holding well
-
Otago holding in for sure, too bad Wellington are the best defensive team in the comp. Haven’t let in a try yet this season.
This game will surely open up in the second.
-
We have a lot of grit. Gilbert playing more like a 12 than a 10

PUJ option taking is not good
That is true, he stayed with the Canes far too long.
-
@nostrildamus yeah, it’s been his downfall his whole career. Higgins showed what good decision making looked like at the end of last year. That’s why the Canes need to keep Higgins and let PUJ go.
-
Otago's backline is interesting. Seems TUG, Whaanga, Nareki and Te Hiwi playing all over the place.
-
Never seen a team so dominant but leading only 13-0
