Final: Chiefs v Crusaders

It would be a pretty cool record for Robertson if the Saders were to win. 7 out of 7 as coach. Can't have happened too often in professional sport.
-
The Chiefs are unbeaten all season. They should win this easily.
But you know Razor and Scott Hanson have planned for this for the last few months. Obviously I want the crusaders to win as I want Razors legacy to be 7-7. But I generally think the chiefs will win.
But I thought the Blues would win too 😉😉 -
@chchfanatic Come on now, the Chiefs lost to the Reds 😉
-
I think the Chiefs should win, but I do acknowledge the Crusaders do finals like no other NZ team. Canterbury used their ambush tactic last week though, Chiefs know what is coming.
Plus the Crusaders will have to listen to those feral mooloo cowbells, seriously should have been banned by Geneva convention.

I want the Chiefs to win. I think that would be extremely good for the competition. I also think it would be nice to have Razor enter next year with some fire in his belly.
-
Crusaders by 11-16
-
This is the best final for a while on paper.
Chiefs are much stronger than 2022 Blues (look at coaching, tight 5, number 10, leadership).
Really hard to tip either way - which is how you want it.
Hopefully it's a cracker and not a blowout.
Would much rather Razor experience and learn from a playoff loss now than when in charge of ABs.
-
I really want the Chiefs to win because if they don’t the whinging about the ref and blaming others will be unbearable….

If it's Berry, the chiefs at least have a chance.
Any kiwi ref (or Gardner). Chiefs may as well just stay home and play fortnite.

The Ioane bros play for the Chiefs?
-
@ACT-Crusader not with that attitude they don't

Went Chiefs...
... partially with the heart ...
... but partially on the back of a member of Peter Thorburn's Flat Earth Society on ZB on Saturday who observed that the Chiefs can handle the NZ teams, but struggle against the Aussie teams/style.
Seemed a reasonable theory.
Having said that ... wouldn't be surprised if the Saders Sade it easy, because Saders.
But have made my call. Chiefs by the squeak of their bum.
-
Rain forecast so I'm picking a test match type intensity grindfest.
A low scoring affair but I'm picking the Chiefs forwards and kicking game will just edge the Crusaders.
This will age well when both teams put on a blazing display of open field rugby with 80+ points being scored.

Crusaders in a canter. They just have a knack of coming good this time of year.
Blues were poor last week, but mainly Crusaders were good.
Nah, Crusaders played their final last week, can't see them backing up such a performance, on the other hand Chiefs didn't really fire against the Reds & Brumbies, so I have a feeling Chiefs will probably step up a gear & put it all together for the finale.

And if Razor manages to beat them, despite all that and them having to ask his old school friend's nephew's class to play because of injury, Razor will ascend into rugby heaven.
