Saw someone say that the Joker is the first in history to lead in points, rebounds, and assists during the finals. That's fucking mad.
But he didn't win regular season MVP.... đ. The guy is a throwback
I'm assuming he was finals MVP, I know which I'd prefer

Yep Jokic was Finals MVP.
A very likeable bunch the Nuggets - good stuff.
Pretty awesome for Nuggets fans who have been waiting nearly half a century for this
Happy ending for Murray, who feared he would be traded when he was injured in the bubble. And Aaron Gordon can be known for balling out to help win a finals series instead of that slam dunk contest

Ummmm
LeBron averaged 35.8 points (Steph next with 26), 13.3 rebounds (Tristan Thompson next with 13), and 8.8 assists (Steph next with 6.3)
And yes @mariner4life , I know his team lost in 6, no need to point it out to me
Complete travesty that Iggy got Finals MVP - fine to only select from the winning team if that's the deal, but anyone who thinks Iggy was more valuable than Steph in that series doesn't know anything about basketball.
Edit - LeBron repeated the feat and led all 3 categories the next year too, winning in 7 games (thanks largely to Steph's poor series and the Draymond nut-kick)

fucking LBJ stans

Was awesome seeing the likes of Peyton Manning, Alex English and other Denver faithful so happy.
Jokerâs influence on each game was very clear, even the one they dropped. Easy decision.
The stars and support players played better than their Heat counterparts. Shame Herro wasnât playing because he wouldâve made a big difference. A guy that can create his own shot, shoot the 3 and a reliable ball carrier. They effectively had to play a combination of guys to try and get what Herro had been delivering this season. Still think Denver wouldâve won it, but it may have been a closer and deeper series.
Butler looked cooked at the end and that turnover pass and ill advised 3 when down by 3 and still 24+ seconds left. His team mates had set up the play too for him and cleared the right side of the floor for him to go 1-on-1.
Very happy for the Nuggets.

Perhaps this is what they were referencing:
Thatâs stoooopid !!!
I mean, itâs a great achievement, but you shouldnât be penalised for sweeping someoneâŚ

Speaking of stats, there have been 5 different NBA champions in the last 5 years, and 4 first-time winners in the last 13 seasons.
Maybe signs that the draft system is working? Also there is so much money to be made outside of basketball contracts, the players don't necessarily feel the need to stay in big markets like they used to

That's pretty lenient. Safe to say Ja is running out of chances
Although the players union have come out and said itâs way too harsh and âarbitraryâ. Yeah nah.

I guess they have to be seen to be supporting him. But he's got to get his head out of his arse.
He isn't even gangster, he's got no excuses -

Not great for the suns either. The no trade clause stays with his contract. The new CBA won't pan out well for top heavy salary teams. Can't see DA lasting much longer trade him for multiple pieces and play lansdale the Aussie. Boogie cousins as a bench piece or dwight on a minimum would be good to roll out as back up.
Interesting to see if Dame ends up in Miami and zion gets traded.
