There’s trolling and then there’s becoming a laughing stock

He’s at the latter for me and a very big reason I no longer take The Times

@MiketheSnow the glory days of Bunce at second five, guscott at centre, Rupeni on the right and Ardie at blindside.

….and Will Skelton, Rob Kearney and Juan Martin Hernandez making John Eales, Bakkies Botha, Victor Matfield, Brodie Retallick, Christian Cullen, Dan Carter and Stephen Larkham look like complete amateurs in comparison.

i saw that, it's honestly some of his best work

people will not be able to help themselves. And the best part is, he's included people from lots of nations, but not the right ones. It's a delicious wind-up

The best bit is the Irish getting upset as if they actually believe they should have more players in the team.

@mariner4life I'm not so sure it is a complete wind up, maybe he is looking to renegotiate his contract and is looking to up the traffic.

I honestly think he sees the game and players through a different tint, that obscures what normal people see

The best kind of troll when you aren't sure they are trolling or they have simply lost the plot. It would be quicker and easier of that 'dream team' to mention who'd you keep...

@mariner4life Ardie at 6 is absolutely brilliant trolling, credit where it's due, there's about 4 different groups of fans that would be triggered by that.

I bet he licked his lips at the thought of meltdowns in NZ when he typed the name Michael Hooper as well

Did Rupeni play much 14 after he left NZ? He's actually one of the most gifted players I've ever watched, so I don't really begrudge his place despite getting it possibly on the wrong wing and above players that were consistently world class at the top of the international game.

@No-Quarter I think you already know the answer. But if you don't, I wouldn't think he was even noticed past 2003 world cup where he tore up on the left.

Geez he made Scotland look like chumps in the 03 WC. What a player.

Luckily the other 14 weren’t quite as good.

I know, they’d be more suited the other way round. Dumb Walrus.

I sent this round my rugby world, and to a man the Aussies said they wouldn’t have Harry, Skelton nor Hooper in their best of Aussie let alone world

And to that end, I would have selected Howley over Phillips for our one and only inclusion

And Ardie wouldn't get close to a best NZ loose forward trio.

Come at me Canes fanbois. 😉

He doesn't make it against Kaino. And Hoopa and Skelton aren't fit to lace up Smith and Eales' boots

And just like that he's riled up the frothiest fans in rugby. Rassie is putting together a video response as we speak.
