@ACT-Crusader Funny you say that because the reason I went to bed at halftime was because the Raiders looked comfortable and after watching that Blues v Highlanders rabble beforehand, I didn't want to watch another painful slow death of a game. Looks like I got that horribly wrong haha.

TBF, it wasnt a great game - it just had an exciting ending. There was a lot of poor play.

Couldnt believe what I was seeing on last 15 minutes. Hugely relieve at the final whistle. Resting Croker cost Raiders dearly with no composure when they had match won
I was a complete neutral, and it was one of the first non Warriors/Dolphins matches I've watched. I usually watched the half hour highlights for each game on Sat and Sun mornings. Might stick to that now.

Bit of weird game that one. Would the Warriors have won with the binning of Milford, probably, but it would have been a lot closer.
Warriors just couldn't convert pressure into points in that first half.
We used to give Piri shit for being a fatso, but really, how does The House function as a first grade back at that size. He reminds me of Greg Eastwood when he played the odd game on the wing for the Broncos.

That is a recurring theme with the Warriors this season, much greater discipline and greater completion rates, but they don't have a try scoring cutting edge at times

Good Warriors win.
The Titans need to change everything they do at half time, because their 2nd 40s kill them!
Brisbane prove they are legit
Roosters sneak the most needed win of the year
The Cowboys bounce back from their Tigers mauling to absolutely pump the Storm
And Penrith predictably beat the Dragons, but Cleary is gone with a hamstring -
And so the NSW Origin team becomes very interesting. The whole fucking team was set up around Cleary, and if he is not there, what do they do?
The obvious is, Hynes is already in the side, so he goes to 7. But does that work with Luai? Do they bring in Reynolds to play 7, and pair him with say Cody Walker? Freddie is actually going to have to think, and i am not sure that's his strength
-
the odd number of teams and the origin byes are really fucking with the table
Penrith are first, but they have had two byes already, and have only played 12 games
Brisbane, Souths and the Cowboys are yet to have the bye, and have played 14 games eachWritten off teams like Parra and the Cowboys are actually only a win behind most of the 8, but their problem is the number of losses (the Cowboys are 6-8)

because our team is packed with players who are varying levels of "solid" and we lack genuine attacked talent. The top teams have it in spades, we don't. It says a lot we are still super reliant on SJ's old legs to do stuff.

Metcalf is young and trying to find his feet, I'm not sure RTS can become a play maker for us at 6 or 3/4. But I hope so
-
I'm hopeful RTS becomes our Val Holmes in the centres
-
well go away for a holiday for a week and come back and another NRL player on a charge.. these guys are like clockwork. D Brown, now stood down...
-
oh the Tigers
It finally looks like they are heading in the right direction, they are no longer getting a kicking in the media, they are winning games
And then they go to the GC, lose to the Titans, lose Koroisau to a broken jaw and Brookes to a hamstring injury
That club is quite obviously built on an indian burial ground. Or alternatively they are currently paying the price for the devils pact they made in 2005
-
NSW team naming, if not already spicy, just got very interesting.

yeah, make a big deal previously about club combos, lets see how this plays out.. I doubt Fittler has the balls to play a current/ex souths combo in the spine
