Almost a third try, but Dickson knocks the ball on in the tackle.

Fiji not getting anywhere with that NZ defence. AB7s are keeping them in their own half.

The AB7s should have kicked the ball out. Two minutes into extra time, and Fiji scores!

Fiji scores again. Messy passage of play.

Fiji go through to the Final.
I'd love to see the final minute again. I think a NZ player was tackled without the ball.

    FT: AB7s 17 - 19 Fiji

There was also a moment in the 2nd half where NZ had won a penalty and a Fijian player kicked or threw the ball away, making it impossible for NZ to take a quick tap. Curry was quite angry but the ref didn't do anything. In other games, that would have been a yellow card.

Anyway, it's over. Going for bronze against Samoa at 3.29am.
The Series win and Olympic qualification are already in the bag.

Great season by NZ. Just caught out by some rookie errors today but always in the fight. Right time to give the newbies more experience under pressure. Rokolisoa and Carter are just so good. Timmy has slowed up but still has great impact. Not sure about Che Clark for sevens. But the others are getting better each event.

@Bovidae I wonder what level Premier Rugby Sevens is? Is there indeed "quality opposion"?

I don't know how long she plans to go away from, she is quoted as saying she intends to return to the 7s setup in the future

If the teams are evenly matched with imports then it should be a good sporting contest

It is the off-season for the World Sevens Series so shouldn't impact the BF7s.

@Bovidae Yep, in previous years, the players going to the USA or NRLW would have played Farah Palmer Cup.
