Fuck no matter how good Smith's passes, or even burns is doing well, can't help when backs run such shit timing all the time

De Groot has been sensational ..in what world did fozzy ever see in Angus Ta’avao as tighthead starter but could’nt select De Groot in an All Black squad..?

In fairness to Fozzy he specifically mentioned fitness being the reason he wasn't picked last year. Then selected him once fitness improved.

Yes. They told him he would be in the championship squad if he met certain fitness standards. He did the work and it was a success

@Duluth and not mention a spate of injuries
Still think Angus Ta’avao was an average selection from day dot

Bit of helter-skelter play in the Chiefs 22, DMac gets the ball, thinks about running it but decides to play it safe. His play has matured a fair bit.

I still think one of the biggest mistakes in rugby is letting yourself be that open to the counter. How many tries would the Highlanders have stopped this season, if they had someone back covering? Not that the Highlanders are unique in that aspect.

AT this stage it's on the coaches for constantly selecting him. I mean, everyone knows what's going to happen.

Bingo. Ironically the 13 he is up against wasn't in the full Chiefs squad to start the season.

@Victor-Meldrew after that cringe KFC ad my son and I refer to Angus as 'Glenys!' He's turned into a family joke
