Rebels v Crusaders
-
Be nice to have a proper halfback…
-
@KiwiMurph LOL, damn that was awful. They miss Hall.
-
Crusaders 55% possession and 71% territory
-
24-12 Rebels at HT
Most 1st half points Rebels have ever scored against the Crusaders. Not a great half by the Crusaders but Rebels have played well
-
By geez are the Crusaders trying to see how badly they can cock this up. It looks bloody messy and bone of them look like they on same page.
I think they all must of been laughing when this Horan joker in commentary started game by saying RMo was one of top 3 players in world.

@KiwiMurph I’m here at the stadium and Gordon Ramsey just walked by me.
Must be filming an episode of his Kitchen nightmares! FFS!!!
-
Reece is a huge loss for the Crusaders. Very little X factor now in that backline apart from Mounga. Have to agree with Devine, can't see them winning the comp this year with such average backs.

Brodie’s throwing has been off
Be interesting to see how much they trust the kid on the bench

Fainga’anuku is a bigger loss given the try scoring form he was in.
-
@ACT-Crusader True, forgot about him. There really aren't that many threats when you look at that backline atm. They need Leicester and Richie to be fit and firing to have any chance imo.
-
Ennor seems to be playing well. Threatens the line.
-
Too many mistakes, lapses in concentration in defence, sloppy ruck ball.
We need to fire up in the first 15
-
Poor play to start he half by Fergus.
-
Crusaders would be better off with Havili at 15 and Goodhue/McLeod at 12
-
Ennor not passing to the unmarked player outside him is a poor decision.
-
Hodge was on that
-
Almost thought something interesting might happen in SR tonight. Wrong Derpus. Wrong.
-
That mouthy Rebels 9 has the shittest box kick I've ever seen and he keeps using it.
-
Heinz was running in quick sand

Certainly looked that way from the camera angle. Unlucky not to win the penalty and then cruelly they lose a player and have a try scored under the posts.
-
-
This game has me watching more than I thought I would with game nine of the chess championship on too.
-
Damn the held up call must have been close, looked to me like he hit the line and then got rolled

Excellent call on the other camera angle.
-
Fuck that was a run

Plenty of time for us to still make mistakes.
-
Been really impressed with the Rebels loosies. They’re very active at the collisions and cover plenty of ground. Good balance in the trio too.
-
Ennor with an extra roll.
-
@ACT-Crusader fucken boooooooring.
OKeefe preventing any possible interest being generated by finding a yellow card when Hodge was clearly over the ball.
-
Jeez Mo'unga and Whitelock are going to take some replacing next year. They really are two major pieces to this side.

Way to talk about the positives
-
@KiwiMurph which are? I suppose a comp where the favourites win every match would be reliable for a punt.

It's been a genuinely entertaining game. Wonderful skill. Easily Rebels best performance of the season.
-
Better intensity in the second half and our subs have made a real impact.
McLeod is a really good player. Smart and runs with a bit sting.
-
@KiwiMurph and they lost without a bonus point. Brillo.
-
Masterclass from Crusaders. Got a bonus point after being well outplayed in first half. Havili and Ennor were great and Moananu added a lot in last 20. Tamaiti Williams had a great game too.
Carter Gordon and Brad Wilkin are real talents for Rebels.
-
@ACT-Crusader Fergus was quietly having a shocker, so a good move to sub him.
Thought Goodhue was really good, as well. Making good decisions as usual - including not to play a lot of footie in our own 22.
Grace was excellent and the new hooker had a debut to remember - I presume it was his debut, because I can't recall seeing him anywhere before.
