Yea not good!
And not great news for Wayde Egan with another bad head knock.

Losing 2 key players from our spine really hurt, especially the way Martin, Egan and SJ have been working together.
We played poorly but still were in it. Hopefully we regroup for a big one next week.
-
A lot to like in that Warriors performance, but the Knights were too good tonight.
All we’ve asked for over the years is a team that will keep fighting for 80 minutes, and show some heart, so it’s bloody great to see them doing that.
It’d be nice if we weren’t always chasing the game though, going 10-0 down early on proved to be the difference today.
-
Our defence is fucking awful. Watch our centres, they are completely clueless
We can't keep giving up head starts, and conceding big scores, and expect to win.
SJ is a marvel frankly.
-
@mariner4life I maintain we have the worst defensive centres in the NRL and I have seen nothing to convince me otherwise, even though we were second.
Was hoping Metcalf available soon to potentially move CNK to centre and TMM to fullback. Unlikely to happen now.
Still good fight to hang in there but need to win against teams like the Knights

That was a weekend of suprises.
Melbourne hammering the Roosters i did not see coming. If they can get everyone back, the Storm will be scary come finals.
Penrith fucking destroyed Manly. They coasted the 2nd half against a so-called good team playing for a bit of pride and still scored 44. When the Panthers play like that no one can go with them. The 3-peat is very much on.
Souths pumping the Dogs was a surprise. They played some pretty fucking football doing it too. But for all teh points, Latrell Mitchell at fullback will lose them games against good sides because he's not fit enough. Good kickers will constantly pull him out of position.
The Cowboys are in real trouble. They've lost a lot of their top players to injury, and they are really battling.
Brisbane probably needed that loss, it had all come a little easy so far this year. The good news for everyone else is that probably got Sticky another 2-year extension. -
@mariner4life Latrell Mitchell, the Luka Doncic of the NRL.
-
@mariner4life Didn't see the Roosters mauling coming either, nor the Raiders winning either, I think some of the other results I could see happening either due to injuries or injuries in game.
Not a bad time for the Warriors to play the Cowboys again though. Both teams down on troops, but at least a home game, where we tend to play better anyway. Will be a big game for Volkman, but to his credit he did play in the win against the Sharks.
-
that was a tough watch, warriors doing all the things wrong they have done in previous seasons. Something like 13 errors all coming out of our own end.
However we still found a way to win, thankfully against a team who is really struggling..
When we actually maintained the ball we looked ok, given the next few games though will need to improve by an insane amount if we want to continue this winning trend
-
Wow - get a look at the Hudson Young strip and try! Should have been off with so much blood coming from his eye, but he rolls out of a defensive strip, gets up and runs best part of 80 metres to score. Play of the season. Then gets himself sin-binned a few seconds from time for a professional foul that saves a potential extra-time thriller.

our ex-panthers coach is best ex-panthers coach. Loving seeing Gould, the big check book, and the Dogs languishing down the bottom
This is a very even NRL. And the bye is making the ladder lie as well (Parra are the best 3-4 team i have ever seen)
Teams are so wildly inconsistent week to week. And the plethora of binnings is turning games on their head.
I genuinely don't know who is good at the moment.
Brisbane are leading, and bounced back well, and should finish top 4, but i am a way off calling them favs
Penrith show all the signs of being the best team in the comp, then Newcastle put them under the pump and push them to golden point.
Cronulla, Souths, Manly and Melbourne are all as likely to lose as win next week. It's a fucking great season.
