He is just lucky his manager negotiated him a contract beyond his capability. He is higher up the pecking order for the Landers than he would be at Ta$man.

I think Paea was talked up in his first year. Prior to the 2021 season. He got injured in pre-season. Provincial season confirmed he was kak. Dawai talked up before last aeason. Had some howlers in his first couple of games. Then dropped. Just lucky they signed decent length contracts. It isn't good when players who can't start for their provincial teams are in the top Super sides.
