These crusaders backs are hopeless, there is no way they can win this year unless they sort it out.

    @chimoaus Brumbies B team.

33 year old halfback on debut haha. Think they've pulled blokes from club rugby for this one.

Love the token 'hasn't been easy' line from the comms. They must have left 4 or 5 tries out there and still win by 20 odd.

Brumbies had the perfect opportunity to win in Chch. Pretty poor from them and a blight on the competition for them to rest all their top players in what should be one of the top games of the year.

@Canes4life Yeah but also historically a game they are almost certain to lose. When would you rest your stars if its mandatory? 'Saders did it against Fiji. Is that a disgrace?

The Drua aren’t a top side so it makes sense to rest your big guns. If Super Rugby want to get their fans back, surely (bar injury) the best players should be playing the big games.

A depleted Crusaders team beats a Brumbies B team and earn a bonus point.

The Crusaders will be hoping to get a few players back from the injury ward soon, or they'll have to field their U20s team.

Leicerster Fainga'anuku was outstanding and is seriously putting his hand up for a RWC spot. Lio-Willie also very good.

@Canes4life Yeah well - if they wanted fans back they could've done a wide array of things to address the problems with the comp but they didn't. Can hardly blame the Brumbies for making a fairly sensible decision.

Razor just said that Blackadder might be out for a couple of weeks. Another one.

Do Crusaders supporters consider that a disappointing result considering the strength of the opposition?

@Stargazer He has been playing really well in his comeback, I often wonder if some of them get back too soon. Glad he isn't out for too long. Would love to see a player ratings for this game. How many newbies did we have in this game?

I was originally pissed at Larkham for resting players, but all coaches have to handle their squads as they think is best, not just for Test player protocols , but for players lasting season.
The main reason I had trouble with is not disrespecting anyone but his own team by seemingly running up the white flag.

Lol Well we do have Jordan,Reece,Goodhue,Havilli out they may make a difference.
    Plus ****Grace,Strange,**Dunshea,Brewis Newell,Bell.Whitelock,
5 points with those players out seems ok to me.The ones in bold type due back after the Bye.

@antipodean not at all. The crusaders were missing 7 All Blacks and 10 injured players in total.

Hence I can understand why Larkham chose a B side, he backed his squad and imagine if he had pulled it off

Crowd booing a knock on. How dare the ref call a knock on against the Crusaders.

Absolutely despicable behaviour from the Christchurch crowd being the only home crowd in the history of sport to boo a ref. Somebody needs to think of the children before real harm is done.

    Another poor kick by Mo'unga.

Other than his goal kicking and an early line break in the first half, he had an absolute mare.

Blues and Chiefs are heavy favourites.

But in saying that, SR titles aren’t won in March…
