I think the Brumbies had set this as a can't win

    weak. as. piss.

I agree, but it seems to be what they have done, we see it in WC where minnows play second stringers against top teams.

there's an enormous difference between Namibia v the ABs

and the Brumbies who like to bill themselves as a heavyweight and potential winner of the competition.

I don't understand why the Brumbies rested players.

RA resting policy for RWC year. I don't know how it works but maybe they were counting on a loss here anyway?

No argument from me mate, I am pretty oustanded at the Brumbies attitude, FFS they had MP last week, why the hell you wouldn't rest players then is beyond me!

Yep they must have had it all mapped out as a rest for this week.

Makes the Crusaders path a bit easier if teams don't target them. A bit of an advantage?

Why not? They came within a whisker of the final last year and look a better team this year.

    definitely not now

imagine being the coach trying to get your players up to play the Crusaders in a semi?

"aw yeah i know i said we couldn't beat them last time we played them, but it's totally different this time"

    fucking loser talk

@KiwiMurph they won't be able to make the top 2 and therefore won't get a home semi. They won't win a semi in NZ let alone a semi & a final in NZ.

I'm not sure what you've seen so far that leads you to that opinion. They've already beaten the Blues.

So the Crusaders are missing Finlay Brewis, Oliver Jager, Fletcher Newell, George Bell, Mitchell Dunshea, Quinten Strange, Sam Whitelock, Cullen Grace, Taha Kemara, David Havili, Jack Goodhue, Sevu Reece and Will Jordan? Or did I forget someone?

I thought you were naming the team there!

And if they beat the Crusaders they would be a long way to getting some home knockout games!

Change to the Crusaders: Zach Gallagher out with a hamstring injury; Dom Gardiner starting; Jamie Hannah will wear the 19 jersey.

Looking like Pickerill no longer believes players need to stay on their feet at rucks.

That's some poor defence by the Brumbies.

I guess having three 7s is the next logical step.
