Hurricanes vs Blues

@Steven-Harris I'm not. Laulala has been on a downward trend for a while now. How he continues to be selected is beyond me. Hodgman still coming back from covid?

A toss-up between Booth and Eklund as the worst sub.
Eklund’s form has nose dived. Not just the lineout, he was much more effective in general play last year
Amazingly Riccitelli is playing ok. I didn’t think I would ever say that

I thought Sotutu and Lakai were the best players on the park for each respective team. They were both very strong defensively and showed plenty of firepower when they had ball in hand.
When the hell are we going to start picking Aumua in the starting jersey. He's changed the game every time he's come on this year, he really needs to be playing more than 50 mins per game.
Worst player for me tonight was Isaia Walker-Leawere, some really dumb involvements from him.

Just watched this one. Can't believe how dumb IWL plays match after match and looks like it is all a big joke. Sangster is missed. But Laulala is no better. Did several grubby things. Wonder if there may be citings after this.
Blues deserved win. Sotutu and Tucker did so much great work and Christie too. RTS is improving but what is with Rieko and his vision and distribution? Some great defence though.
Savea Jordie and Roigard were all threatening for Canes and Rayasi and Flanders had some good moments. -
Canes dumb. Just dumb.

Yep. Bring back JGB... at lock or wing and increase the average intelligence of the team.
And Jordie seems to play two positions simultaneously... because he has to.

Good win for the Blues. Credit to them for repelling Canes repeatedly on their line. Sotutu and Paps put in huge shifts.

Not a bad shift from the young fella. He needs to start the big games with Ardie. Kirifi just isn’t big enough.
