Can see why Steve Smith is struggling at slip - even with that catch he is bending at the waist and his hands weren't together.

    holy shit, 3 down.

Lyon turns one from way outside off, keeps low, bowls Pujara. Ridiculous.

You play with fire, you get burnt.

Bloody hell, with that sort of turn from Lyon in the first hour, it might be a two day game.

might struggle to get to day 2!

    India 4 down

Edit: 3 down. Kohli got a touch on it with his bat, no LBW

Jajdeja saved by the thinnest of edges, and then throws it away next ball.

Why are players playing off of the back foot when the ball isn't bouncing?

So, what's a par score in the first innings? 120? 80? I have no idea. Feels like a few hits may be the difference.

Also, why bother with picking any seamers. Select three spinners and pack the batting (such as it is), get a par ttimer to trundle down a few overs

    1. Australia haven't batted yet.
    2. Their cheat code is the lower middle order.

Yep, too much back foot play and/or trying to give themselves room. And not learning from the dismissals of their previous batters.

I can’t bring myself to cheer for one of these teams over the other.

    Another wicket.

Can Aus break the Ashwin-Axar axis?

Match is perfectly poised for this pair to now bat 2 days and put Australia out of the game.

This could be a great week for NZ cricket, the result yesterday and thanks to this pitch potentially an innings to be sub 26!

Australia. no contest. Dickhead Indian cricket fans are the worst.

Plus now that Brad Haddin has retired I struggle to dislike any Aussie players.

Shane Watson and his retarded reviews and general overratedness springs to mind but he’s long gone too.

None of this means I actually like @NTA though.
