not that we'll ever have that top order selection luxury.
Are you a lefty? Might get a call up

India Australia test 3 kicks off. Arguably the biggest series in world cricket.
Anyhoo, pitch looks a day 3 turner already, Starc had two wickets in the first over if he reviewed them (he didn't; not out) and India rollicking along at 26/0 after 5 overs. It's not boring!
Got an indian mate stopping by later to watch some ... probably India racking upa massive total already. Spin introduced in the 6th over by Australia. A good toss to win.

Great bowling early from Kuhnemann. With that much turn in the first 35 minutes on day one, it will be another fast game.
2 down now - and spot on. Great to watch, hell to play on as a batter or fast bowler.

Bloody hell, with that sort of turn from Lyon in the first hour, it might be a two day game.
might struggle to get to day 2!
India 4 down
Edit: 3 down. Kohli got a touch on it with his bat, no LBW

@nzzp Jadeja not Kohli
yep, fair.
Next ball got the weight wrong and boom.
44/4. Wow. Engrossing viewing though!

FUUUUCK YOU INDIA SUFFER IN YOUR JOCKS!

So, what's a par score in the first innings? 120? 80? I have no idea. Feels like a few hits may be the difference.
Also, why bother with picking any seamers. Select three spinners and pack the batting (such as it is), get a par ttimer to trundle down a few overs

- Australia haven't batted yet.
- Their cheat code is the lower middle order.

Why are players playing off of the back foot when the ball isn't bouncing?
Yep, too much back foot play and/or trying to give themselves room. And not learning from the dismissals of their previous batters.
