@booboo will they be that worried about our spin options tomorrow? We've shown some good patches but there has also been a fair bit of dross. Pakistan might be feeling ok about having to bat at 3.5 or more.

Yeah. Need to set them a challenging RPO.

@Damo I know we are tempting fate in recent posts... but it feels like these guys are pretty set and can up the ante!

Blundel has become a really solid bat for us normally at 7 strengthens our batting nicely very reliable bat.

Questions were being asked last year, particularly about his keeping. But 4 (?) stumpings) in two tests is pretty good!

Yep to be fair I questioned his keeping a year ago,But he has been excellent in the last year with Bat and gloves.
    He has won me over.

5 or 6 an over from here till stumps, then go hell for leather in the a.m. for 10 overs.

    That my plan anyway ...

I seem to recall doing likewise.

10 overs tomorrow seems a bit excessive. I would want to have a bowl tonight.

I don’t mind that plan at all.

Not sure we can get far enough in front tonight, unless we go nuts now, and that has risks.

Not huge risks. I mean if we go for it now and lose a few wickets in a hurry we still have some pretty good batting to come that can survive for a while.

I think we should back ourselves.

Yeah I think if we declare tonight we leave ourselves short and leave too many overs for Pakistan.
Plus we will probably lose 5 overs tonight due to bad light again.

4 runs in 3 overs after drinks.

I agree with Doull that we don't appear to be trying to win this test.

Blundel maybe done a groin he won’t be Keeping tomorrow if he has.
And batting all he can do is stand and deliver.

I am getting mad at this approach. Perhaps I should go to bed.

Blundell injured. He should go off and get well.

Two other keepers in the team.

    1 and a half.

I'm not convinced about Conway's keeping.

Better from Bracewell he should always play his shots that is his cricket DNA,not grafting.

After a flurry of runs, Blundell skies one to a wide-ish mid-on.

Mitchell in now with a very settled Bracewell. We are in an interesting spot here because we don’t have enough runs to feel comfortable but time is needed to bowl these guys out again.
