Off thread I know, but why have the ABs finished their tour a week earlier than their SANZAR counterparts?
Obviously these two negotiated revenue sharing matches outside the Test window.
Interesting as England have been the biggest opponents of revenue sharing.
Which is IMO why NZ v Eng has not happened more regularly.
This bolded part isnt correct. England do 2 revenue sharing/out-of-window tests per 4 years. So, every second Autumm. It is even negotiated into the PGA with the PRL clubs re: player release.
It may seem less, recently, as the one v NZ back in 2018 broke down in negotiations between the 2 unions as wasn't replaced by a different opponent.

I'm talking about revenue sharing for all tests.
Why the duck would any union do that?
For the growth of the game?

Yeah it's dream world stuff. But what WR should punish, maybe fines that pay to the affected opponent, is when the first test of the tour doesn't have access to the full players of the touring Union. Like when France comes down here with the first test on the same weekend as the top fourteen final. It that happens, it's devaluing the product - the financial negative should be compensated
-
Handbags and surprisingly Etzebeth in the middle of it.
-
Farcical. NH being silly to themselves this weekend. Its almost like deals have been done......oh wait...
-
I don’t know what Eddie has been smoking. Freeman, the only back with pace is off for Nowell who has deceptive pace - he’s slower than he looks. Take off one big lump (Cole’s) and replace him with a bugger lump(Ribbans) when we’ve been slow and second best around the park and at the breakdown. Then Curry gets yellow and we have no flankers at all, cos he’s only picked one in the 23. Meanwhile Billy V continues his charmed life despite making fuck all metres.
We’re going to get reamed.
-
The irony of Farrel bitching to Ref that the boks are taking too long with everything...
England scrum under the pump
-
Finally Billy gets subbed. The walk to the touch line was as quick as he’s been all game.
-
Another committee meeting. This is farking killing our game.
-
That's red every day. BUT they have gone back way to far. Like 3 minutes
-
@Jailbreak7 It should've been reviewed so that when the game stopped a decision was already made essentially.

Lol how dumb is this English team. Trailing by 21 and are slowing the game down. Going for the lineout on 3 occasions against a good maul defence was moronic.
And Farrell takes about a minute to kick the conversion.

These water breaks just add another entry on the blight on the game list
-
@Mattasaurus It's coming in the winter and there should not be water breaks. Whose brainchild was this?
