Forwards were fantastic.
Overall happy with 2022
I'd prefer if 10 and 15 stopped looking for the miracle plays at times and stick to basics. High risk cross kicks not good.
Pick and goes, short ball to the wingers, JB on the cut
We have enough firepower up front to be competitive.
SB silenced the 6 doubters

I'll be quite perturbed if they go back to Cane.

CC good game.
Telea making a strong case for regular starting -

We lost control of the game when the bench came on they were shit.
Saying we looked tired Fucking hell we had pretty much 8 fresh players on for the last 10.We need to look at different bench players to close out the games.
Havili and Frizzel are not the right players to have on the bench.
I'll gently suggest to just watch Frizell's 15 minutes at the end again.
You might not be as surprised when he gets picked next time.

Telea making a strong case for regular startingI'm not uncomfortable with Telea, but don't think he's significantly better than our other options. Particularly Reece.

Sevu was pretty quiet in his outings on this tour.
Will Jordan is locked in unless we need him to shift to 15.
-
@Chris-B agree re Jordan being l Iocked in.
Reece not really got a run?
-
Stan seemed to have come up short with replays, would have liked to see the BB yellow card again looked like fine line between technically correct or not ie made tackle, got to his feet and competed for ball. To do that must have been some clear release

@Old-Samurai-Jack
If I was coach this would be priority. Things aren't quite right in the backs -
@booboo Sevu was really quiet vs Japan and Wales. Lost his place to Telea, but I sort of hope he comes back, because he can cover both wings, which is otherwise problematic in a RWC squad.
On the other hand, if Will is moved to fullback then Telea's height is handy on the right wing - and maybe he starts and Sevu is cover on both sides.
@OSJ - Yeah - we need to give Will a couple of runs at 15 if Jordie is being locked in at 12.

Never released for mine

So itβs pretty much confirmed that we donβt have a ten in either BB or RM that can drive us around the park, and make 65mins of forward dominance pay.
Do we start looking at DMac and Perofeta from the bench as ten subs to see if they can do it?
We stick with RM at ten then we have very little chance at winning a World Cup. And as a bonus, be a team that lose from anywhere.
Yeah, Mo'unga has probably been the biggest disappointment, not because he's been absolutely dreadful, but because the cupboard is bare so we really needed him to step up, but he's just as flaky now as he was when he first came into the ABs. I think we should have a good look at DMac next year, he's really matured as a player and as all of the skills to do very well in the position.
It was criminal to give Perofeta so little gametime in black this year.

Clear YC for me. Not even debatable imo

To give credit England played very well at the end

I agree. But the disappointing thing was our inability to kick deep into their territory and try to let our defence try to hem them in and force mistakes. Just a failure to control the match when we needed to
