Tonga v Chile

Former Hurricanes Assistant Coach (and BoP as well) Richard (Watty) Watt is sitting in the 'Ikale Tahi coaching box. Interesting to note Chile electing to take another lineout every time Tonga throw in crooked, and there have been at least three of these inside the first 25 minutes. Vaea Fifita has had every Tonga thrown in thrown to him.

Mercifully it has got to halftime and the referee can get a much needed break to recharge his lungs in readiness to keep blowing the pea out of his whistle for the next 40 minutes. Admittedly the players are making it rather easy for him in that regard.
It is almost as if some of the Tongan players have forgotten exactly what Mate Ma'a Tonga means given the standard of play is somewhat below the levels we have seen from their players individually in the Bunnings Cup and Super Rugby games they have had. Most of the calls of encouragement (as well as those advising the referee of incidents he might have missed) that have been made from the Tongan bench have been coming in English!!!!!!!Halftime see Tonga lead 13 - 03 but Chile have passed up on a couple of oenalty chances that could have given them another 6 points at least.

And now smelling salts required for @Nepia as Solomone Kata gets credited with an assist as he delivers the final pass after coming into the backline from his blindside wing and breaks nicely through before putting the right winger in for a nicely constructed try, aided by some rather ineffective tackling!

Sadly Stan is not showing this match so I can't confirm this.
