Very good performance overall, solid batting display and then our bowlers have done enough to get the job done comfortably, exactly what you want against a minnow that has already knocked over a top team.

I heard one guy on the radio this afternoon try and do the numbers and by his estimation Oz need to bat first and score around 220 and then roll Afghanistan for 80 odd.
I wouldn’t have a clue if that is right or not.

According to me - for Oz to get ahead of us they'd have to bat first, score 232 and roll the Afghans for 48 - or something equivalent.
If the Afghans bat first it might not be possible - but that might be some muddled thinking.
