All Blacks MOTM v Japan

Reece was industrious and actually looked threatening.
Made a lot of mistakes, kick chasing was very poor, caught out of position on defence. Scored one very nice try. Not a good performance. Among a few others with that!

Went with Sotutu, Cane, and Papalii because (a) they looked interested in tackling, and (b) the the backline did not look interested in tackling or working hard off the ball, and they generally played like shite.
Sotutu might have looked interested in tackling unfortunately he didn’t. What was it, one tackle for the match?
Agree the backline was rubbish. Both Christie and Mo’unga were top of that pile

Christie
Back to fucking around at the ruck. Seems better suited as a replacement.

Cane, Caleb Clarke & Sotutu for me.
Honourable mentions to Reece, RTS & ALB
-
Paps, Sami, Sam

I'm going to have to force myself to do a rewatch because I don't remember Dalton standing out from the pack, even with that haircut but he seems to be getting the love.
I see Mo's parents are members of the Fern.
I thought Paps was excellent, but not on long enough to get MOTM mention.
Surely no-one voted for Mo'unga???

Looool at mounga and perofeta getting votes.

I'm astounded the love Dalton is getting.
Came on, bustled, made a few tackles. That's his job. Did fuck all Cane didn't when he was on. We gave up metres and a try when he was on. ALB arguably had more impact, made 5 tackles and he's a centre.
The stats on this game are weird.
