@No-Quarter they're playing fast, accurate and remind me a lot of the time they beat the Yarps at the world cup.

Marshall hailing Laulala's "big ball carrying" in those phases. He's not even on the field.

We needed that. Need to score again quickly and put this out of reach.

    That’s brilliant.

Charge down and catch and looks like he could run a decent 1500m

I really love the way Japan play, no matter what's happening they don't go into their shell, they keep trying to play positive footy to the final hooter.

They've bombed a couple of opportunities going for the offload instead of taking the "smart" play, and I fucking love it.

While this is a very plucky Japanese team, it is far from a great Japanese team. Up against probably the worst coached All Blacks team ever:

Speaking of Dan Carter, is he able to help out first fives out or does he have zero coaching ability.

How long does everyone reckon it’ll be before Smith starts his sea gull impressions?

One thing I notice with Christie’s clearance from the ruck is that he doesn’t want to burrow in and get the ball and it delays the clearance. He seems to be a half a step away from the bodies and it gives the defence time.

Smiths first ruck clearance pass and he is right in there

When you look across this All Blacks team and the All Black XV team it’s bloody worrying at how average those team lists look.

The cupboard very thin at the moment. A few injuries, some players unavailable for personal reasons or getting rested, some losses of form and then the ABs are selecting players who would have not got a look-in ten years ago.
