SF Wellington v Auckland

Fair call. Needs some polish though. Higgins and Lakai look like the best of the young crop to me.So frustrating watching Aumua. Has it all but throws like a leper

@KiwiMurph Yes its something I hope gets put to bed next year.
Can Wellington finally go one step further and actually win it this year? I've lost count at the amount of times they've lost at the final hurdle.
Bloody hope so mate. Since 2000 haven’t we endured something like 7 finals losses or something. About time we turn that around.

Well played Welly. Really set the tone in the first 10-15 and didn’t look like losing for the remainder of the match.
Auckland defensive line/realignment was a bit all over the show from the first couple of minutes.

@barky1 came into a Canes team that struggles up front but like many of the other posters looking forward to what they can produce next week in a final and in Super Rugby moving forward
Congratulations to Wellington..Good luck next week -

@Duluth Canterbury in Chch? As much as I would like to see it happen, Canterbury in a final especially at home are near impossible to topple.
2000 Wellington team had some young guns and played a final in Chch......

@Canes4life Possibly more, I'm thinking 8 off the top of my head.
Good luck to you guys too, you've had a brilliant season.

Presume Canterbury wins? If so they will be very structured. So if Wellingtons scrum stands up they have a good shot. Interesting final

Yes. I also think BOP has a reasonable chance

A good game to watch for a neutral fan. Some very strange decisions from Doleman at times. For example, Plumtree's neck-high tackle on Trainor chasing that kick, which resulted in a penalty to Wellington.
Neither Heem or Lam did much tonight, apart from missing tackles.
-
@KiwiMurph And some ATGs in their backline too haha.
Still remember Jonah's try down the wing from about 60 out, throwing Vunibaka off multiple times.

Bro, we’ve got to get past Luke Skywalker, Obi Wan and Jar Jar Binks before there’s any talk of a final.
BOP are on fire and we barely stumbled over the line.

I think there was a call from the TJ and Doleman assumed the wrong team? Doesn’t explain why the TJ didn’t correct it

He's been good apart from this match
54-19. Wellington have never got to 50 before vs Auckland. And the score was a fair reflection on the game
JGB had an excellent game. Best game I've seen him play. Numia had another VG game. If had played for Canterbury he would be in the AB 15
Other backs to impress for Wellington was Higgins, savea and Love. But all the backs were good.
Auckland were very impressive at times but defense was poor. Whereas it was a Wellington strength
