Geez PGS has been treated rough. Shouldn't have really been selected in the first place but now he is screwed on representing elsewhere. Did they get excited by early Super form? I thought it was well known not to select on that .
To me this screams a Plumtree pick.

@KiwiMurph he seriously should be able to get is..i cant remember but something like 20mins annulled...does look dodgy

Apparently Cane pushed hard for his selection

Argh this is disappointing, way too many Cantabs in there. What has Brewis done? what has Dominic Gardener done apart from be solid? Lio-Willie aswell, really?
Guys like Caleb Delany, Peter Lakai, Justin Sangster, Devan Flanders, Kurt Eklund, Brayden Iose etc have all been way better than these guys.
It's pretty much a massive middle finger to the rest of the country.

he has played well for Otago in the NPC
If people like fakatava, RTS, Sotutu dont get game time with the Top Squad ill be annoyed as surely starting for the ABXV would be better than holding tackle bags

Come on man. We all know there are some touch and go selections. But, that is a top quality Hurricanes/Wellington, what about my players post. We all want 'our' players and certainly some of these selections are bullshit. But if the guys you wanted were named there would be a similar uproar!

@Bovidae PT is not a consistent enough player to be a leader. Baffled!
Hopefully it means that TJ is only there in a supporting role. Good servant of the game but well past it.
leading the Haka....

Plenty of motivation for some of those BOP players to prove a point this weekend.

Touch and go lol? Brewis being selected is a joke. It's pretty obvious what players have been performing during Super/Npc and some of those players certainly aren't top calibre. Pretty ordinary tbh.

He out-performed Weber on the weekend so what does that make Weber?

Ryan and Feek seem to be working well with the props. If they see real potential in Brewis what's the problem?

As I said. Some selections are bullshit, and look to be rubber stamped by 2022 Crusaders forwards cosch Jason Ryan. But your players as just as much nobodies as those getting the business class tickets. Delany, Sangster, first year out of school Lakai, Iose and Flanders. They have decent futures. Just don't know if they are the ones stomping up and down going pick me. The Otago and Highlanders fan in me is amazed Nareki, our Umag-Jensen, Holland and even potentially Ainsley didn't get a look in. I just think you are having a laugh, just like the selectors with some of your names. I just feel sorry for big Pita Gus!
