Well at least the Spark Sport panel calls it as it is post game.

Stan post game was whinging that by going back to the earlier yellow card the second yellow card should be cancelled out.

Never heard of playing under advantage?

So by that logic if there were two shots to the head then the second one gets ignored?

I can understand the point. It's a tough one, although this wasn't even under advantage. Easily resolved though I guess - just don't infringe further.

Watched the delayed coverage on TV3. This game showed why Smith wants Fluhler at centre. A couple of try-saving tackles early when Aust was near the goal line and then ghosts through gaps when put in space.

The lineout and scrum need to improve, particularly when the reserves came on.

    Second yellow for Aussie wing?

    Wong was extremely lucky there.

Great to see us change our gameplan after OZ went up 17-0. Forwards stepped it up and we got go forward. So even before the cards I thought the momentum was in our favour and we were looking good.

The Wallaroos, similar to the Wallabies, hit hard and are physical. Their playmaking however left a litte to be liked. No flow from the 9 or 10.

Just finished watching that and I couldn’t stop laughing.

    Foul play is foul play.

Well I was entertained. Some awesome tries, big hits and exciting play.
Was far from perfect, but good to watch.
Wahine of the Match close between McMeniman and Tui for me. Lots of hard work both.

Have enjoyed Women’s rugby for some time. Great to see a big crowd. All the 7s players added something. I thought Sarah Hirini was quality. Great to have her big match experience.

After a rusty start in the first 20-25 minutes, she really upped her game and was vocal with the team.

Can't find highlights anywhere. Not promoting the tournament very well!

Why didn’t they think of going up the middle from the start?

    They didn't have the ball

The switch of her and MT seemed to work well.

I thought our maul defense was effective as well. Looked fairly organised and worlds better than what we saw on the NH tour last year.

@booboo we were making good metres out wide and taking it away from where OZ had a bit of ascendency - the tackle area. The problem was that we were making mistakes at critical times.

Is this going to be 2 YCs?

    That's a red

Fucken hell, low level of danger? I thought that was textbook. I guess they're only chicks

At full speed it didn't seem like a horribly powerful hit. So I kind of get the mitigation as she's desperately looking to not red. Didn't know "low level of danger" was a mitigation. Happy to be wrong.

Both Tui and Woodman sustained high seat-belt tackles.

While we had the obvious good players in the backs ,

Was also really impressed with how well some of the forwards carried the ball

    Enjoyable match.

High tackles obviously refereed differently in the woman game.

Woman of the match for me was Sarah Hirini. Lots of others getting all the glamour, but she was the one that decided to take it up the guts and into contact when we were behind. The game changer.

Having watched England vs USA womans football last night and then this today, I must say that woman sport has gone a long way in the right direction. Great stuff.

She was saved by the BF being more powerful than her. It was just another way of saying "you hit like a girl".

The a capella anthem was cool. The match started with Holmes doing her best Ben Blair impression. After that forwards took control. The ferns 13 looks a very good player. Horrible first 30 but then onwards and upwards.

Hopefully they have got over the excitement/nerves etc as they just weren't thinking clearly to start. Mind you if Tui and Demant got their timing right on the pass I think they would have been into the game much earlier.
