    Excellent Canterbury try.

This could get really ugly for Auckland.

To be honest its crap rule ..Tupaea is out of rugby for 3 months for getting cleaned out by a dog act and both these infractions are both YCs
Everything thats wrong with rugby right there

No, they weren't. That's why Swain got cited. He should have received a red card.

Should have been a Red no matter what, you can not drop you knee onto a player's head.
Dumb by Christie hanging on but a Dog act by Gibson.

Did he actually drop it on his head, I know the Cantab cheerleaders commentators said he did but it didn't look like it hit the head to me (happy to concede the point if G&GR style pics and diagrams are used to show it did).

Yep you can see Christie’s head bounced when he was hit.

    Looked like chest to me.

Look again Christie’s head doesn’t bounce if it hits the chest.

Nice speed of ball. Auckland defence at 6s and 7s and so much space for Heinz to work with. I say it every week but Harmon and Christie work so well together.

What's the background on the Cantab 10?

Looks to have a good skillset.

23 year old ex ChCh boys high first five plays for HSOB
Maybe playing himself into a Crusaders jersey to replace Hickey.

I only remember Harford playing maybe once possibly twice last year.

Blake Gibson for all his energy gets no gainline as a 6 , no turnovers as 7 to be honest i have never understood how he commands a place in this Auckland team .

@Winger They probably didn't want to look too closely at the high shot

Shit from you Drummond Noah Hotham will take the Crusaders starting jersey next season.

What are the options on signing Willie Heinz?

I reckon he's better than Drummie and TTT.

Can’t see it at 35 but you never know it depends if we retain TTT.

@African-Monkey he can take Simon Hickey with him as well..just frustrates me when you see really good players based on club form overlooked ..
You tend to see patterns when the same players who never deliver get selected year after year and the result for Auckland rugby is the same
