Plummer needs to put more pressure on the ref. The 50/50’s are going one way (not talking about the 2nd YC)

    8-2 penalty count so far

Hartford having a tidy game for his 2nd start has good vision for space out wide and has kicked well.

To be honest its crap rule ..Tupaea is out of rugby for 3 months for getting cleaned out by a dog act and both these infractions are both YCs
Everything thats wrong with rugby right there

No, they weren't. That's why Swain got cited. He should have received a red card.

    Good start

Thought Auckland were all over us in the first 10 minutes. Forcing us into errors.

Then we started to play a little better field possession and our set piece started to hum.

Some of these rugby players need to watch less league because I swear it’s their immediate reaction to knock the ball out when it’s in the ingoal area, even though it’s been an illegal play for eons.

Should have been a Red no matter what, you can not drop you knee onto a player's head.
Dumb by Christie hanging on but a Dog act by Gibson.

An awful play from Drummond, but it works out for Canterbury in the end.

He’s been poor. A massive handbrake on our attack. It’s almost like he slows up when he gets the ball.

Jaysus, big head Bates looks exactly the same now as he did when he played. Is he a secret Whitelock?

@Chris It probably would have been a red if Gibson's knee had connected with Christie's head, but I don't think it did.

Did he actually drop it on his head, I know the Cantab cheerleaders commentators said he did but it didn't look like it hit the head to me (happy to concede the point if G&GR style pics and diagrams are used to show it did).

Quite telling that this new Cantab 10 is looking far better than Plummer.

Plummer is a good solid player but I think he's reached his ceiling.

Yep you can see Christie’s head bounced when he was hit.
