@nostrildamus Ardie has started every match there has been this year. He's been consistently world-class over a longer period. Samisoni comes in second for me.
So there is a longevity criterion now? Ok
Dan Coles has started every match one could expect of him [without a zimmer frame] given Samisoni has been the best performer this year and Codie Taylor has a second line in a meat pies bakery. He's been consistently irritating world-class players over a longer period (since 2012). Samisoni still comes in second for me. -

Ardie has obviously been our best, he’s been influential in every game this year and the voting system on here backs up that notion.
I agree with you that Samisoni’s been our second best and is probably pushing Malcolm Marx as the best hooker in World Rugby.

Our best player not being there next week is a huge loss. Big chance for Hoskins though.
Hoskins has delivered as a starting 8 in a Bledisloe before. From memory he was quite excellent in Sydney 2020 in the wet starting at 8.

He’s deserving of an opportunity and he needs game time after not playing at this level for a while now.

Interesting.
Frizell and Ardie both out.
Surely go with Akira, Cane and Sotutu. Papalií on the bench. These guys really need to put down a marker.
They'll surely go with EdG and Bower as looseheads - interested to see whether they stick with Newell at tighthead or go back to someone more experienced. (Barring significant injuries, Angus might be done).
Otherwise, same-same for me.

Sotutu is the best, hasn’t lost a test match this year.

@ACT-Crusader haha fair play

Not his fault that some moron kept playing Codie Taylor.

Pick all three Barretts in the back row. Won't make a lick of difference.
Jordie at 8 (right Blackdragon proportions)
BB at 7 (same height as Richie McCaw?)
Scott at 6... (bit of height there)
might not be that bad and we haven't had a big ball-kicking (and dropkicking) 8 since Zinzan-he went alright. They'd also be familiar with cards. -
If the pattern of the rest of this RC continues, the All Blacks lose the first of the two-game series against a single opposition and win the second.
Of course, that could always break the mold. Let's just hope though that that equates to winning both, not losing two in a row. The disruption to the now established back row of Frizzel, Savea and Cane is a worry, but Sotutu is overdue a run at 8. Let's just hope he's not under-cooked. Perhaps they'll start Scott Barrett at 6 and have two loosies on the bench in Akira and Jacobsen?

You are trying to claim this underdog status hard, my man.
I don't need to put in any effort, really. It is apparently for all to see.

you beat the Rugby World Cup Champions. They only let us win once so we'd keep Foster on. We then tussled with the Argies for 1 out of 2 and let them break the record. We are definitely underdogs.
