Pumas v Wallabies 2

Quite interesting how the wallabies played like France, off the nine. Ten was rarely actually first receiver, 9 made all the play.
Doesn't seem too work as well as it did for France, tho!
I haven’t watched but why would you do that when JOC is 10? Like our mate Quadey from Tokoroa, JOC is a playmaker first and foremost. The type of 10 that is always looking to set someone through a hole or a wide gap and if it isn’t there put the ball into space.

Yeah it is a bit bizarre, it was mentioned in the Roar he took the ball as first receiver 3 times all game

Just watched the highlights - knowing the winner, and that it was by a decent amount. But... fuck... did not expect THAT.
I was expecting an Argie score in the high-20s, early 30s. But... 48? WTAF?
Skimming through the thread, it seems like the ref might have been working on the promise of 1 or 2 argentina senoritas for evening entertainment? Deserved result, but not the "blow"-out the scoreline suggests? -

Well come on man, don't keep us waiting, how did the 2nd half play out???
Maybe tomorrow. Had to go pick up Mrs Boo.
My main point is all I've heard is how Aussie were thrashed.
My opinion is up to 55-odd mins and they've looked the better team, but the ball and rub of the refereeing green has broken for the Argies.
It's fine margins that can make a team (and by extension their coach...) look like world beaters or chumps.
Bit of talk about Rennie being under pressure, but the impression of the game is that Aus have been the better team, at least to that point in the game. I know that's illogical because the team that scores the most points is the better team. All other stats are just stats. But his team seem, at this point, to not deserve to be behind at all (apart from some dumb decisions). Fine margins and 50/50 calls can ruin or make careers.
(I'll let you into a secret though ... I know the result ... )

@booboo barring two mistakes, the ABs would have easily beaten the springboks in the first test I heard.
You might want to catch the Canty v Welly game too. I read that barring a couple of set piece mistakes, they would have thrashed the lambs.
Maybe the scoring system needs to change, with all these better teams losing lately. Could perhaps make missed tackles worth a point? Every 3 knock on's could get another point.
