Wow, lots of people thinking the ABs are going to score 2 or more tries this week.
Foster will have done his job this week if so
I've gone for 6 RM PG's.
1 BB DG
1 SF DG
So you expect the AB forwards to provide field position to slot DGs?

Keeping the faith
The Boks are not as fantastic as everyone is making out
Run them off their feet

At altitude? There are at least 4 or 5 players in the AB match day squad that have limited or no experience of the burning that comes with playing on the highveld.
Running them off their feet is already difficult. Add in the additional 2 scheduled stoppages for water (at 20 and 60 minutes) and it gets harder.
I expect the ABs to kick a lot for territory and force the Boks to play a bit. Key will be not conceding penalties to allow them to piggyback up the pitch.

No they're not and taking it easy they dismissed us completely, that's the problem!

Kicking the ball to the Boks is suicide and the game plan of mental midgets
Run it at them
Grubber or chip the always offside backline
Kick it dead -

Kick it deadTrue. I mean if Wales can beat the Boks and run them close in the other two, then the ABs can beat them. Right? Need to be as cynical as hell though, which seems beyond these ABs at the moment. Things I never thought I'd write!

Kick it deadAgreed that need to use their strength (line speed/offside) against them. Keep them turning.

Definitely
And we would have won the series but for a brain fart from Tomos Williams and atrocious refereeing

Heeyyyyyy....waaaait a miiiinute

Tough trying to pick a score when neither team actually constructed a try last week.
When your game plan is 'smash the bastards and kick the ball into orbit', or 'give it to someone fast and hope he does something magic', it does make try scoring at high rates rare.
So.
21-15 to the kick and hopers over the just hopers.
-
So, ABs by 3-5. Say 19-15.
Hear me out. Our fatties suck. Buuuut, we fed them so much territory and possession last week based on turnovers that 'could be refereed differently' (Marx and others) and a horrific aerial effort, and amplified it by dropping the ball whenever we were on attack.
So, if we manage to just not do that, we'll hold onto the ball for a few phases and score some points.
Bokke will feel like they just have to show up and do the same thing again. Maybe they do, fair play. But maybe, just maybe we get some decent coaching/analysis this week and can actually find some holes.
For rush, I think you have to attack on angles around the ruck, and get quick recycling. Make them work - it shoudl be high risk to blow up later in the game.
Of course, the reality is more likely to be the Boks cause merry hell at our breakdown, wreck our set piece and then run so much ball down the RM DH channel that they look like roadbumps by the end of it and we leak points like a sieve.
Edit: this is a triumph of hope over reality
