I missed both games. Convincing result from the AB7s, but very disappointing to see the girls miss out on a spot in the Final. But I knew that was a strong possibility with the squad they (the Aussies) have. Now, you know why I posted this. 🤨

They should be able to win bronze.

@NTA travelling the world and going to Comms Games and Olympics is still a massive draw card for 7s compared to the AFLW and NRL womens - especially when the pay still isn’t great for footy and league just yet.

I'm surprised that Ozzie 7s yellow wasn't a penalty try. Take the hair pulling out of the equation, woodman likely to score, it was only the hair pulling that slowed her down so the other defender got there.

Not very practical hair for contact sports, really

If I remember rightly Brian O’Driscoll pulled out one of George Smiths dreads back in the day.

On the long hair thing: tbh it is like jumping into a tackle for me i.e. if you leave your hair out, you're asking for an infringement.

You're reducing the tackle area through an unskilled means. Mens or womens - put it up.

Bit embarrassing for Wales here... quite likely to lose to England after having zero idea what to do with the ball.

Just channel surfing and stumbled onto Fiji vs AB7s in the semi. Hopefully the boys can go one better than the girls

One of the Fijians looks in a bad way. We started little slow but we are getting into our work now

I don't remember the last time I saw a high tackle in 7s not get carded. But there we go, Fiji swinging arm is only worth a penalty if it's against NZ.

Ref should give himself a RC. Gets collected and snuffs out our attack

Jordan Way impeding NZ again. Why is he standing directly behind the ruck blocking any play?

What the hell? We cough up a soft turnover and Fiji get a gift 7 pointer. 14-7 could have been 14-0
