The mere idea these days of a sevens team including Cully, Lomu and Vidiri is dream team stuff.
He wasn't cart horsed until he moved to Chch, before that he was all flair.

Seriously though he was crucial at dealing with the Fijian physicality at the breakdown back then. Something NZ is almost incapable of doing these days.

By the way, the first game was on by the Aussie women, who beat South Africa 38 - 0.
