Foster, Robertson etc

@Stargazer and yet arguably the worst of the lot doesn't even seem to be in the firing line.

I beg to differ slightly with Ollie Ritchie. It is a great look for an ABs fan, just not so much for NZR or Foster!
Don't think Feek is the issue really, so 2/3rds happy with this plus Ryan seems an excellent scrum coach. And great to see a Guy Ritchie character in the ABs coaching team. Congrats Jason Ryan! Well deserved!
And kudos to go back on tour again (I assume he's travelling)

Oh and when Foster said he was strategic I thought immediately, ah, he is dropping the assistant coaches to save himself.
Didn't post it though so you'll just have to believe (or disbelieve) my inner sauce. Seems loyalty only goes so far. Anyway, a good press question for Foster, if he is 'strategic' couldn't he have been 'strategic' when he assembled his team to start with? Or does 'strategic' not necessarily mean good or bad strategy? -

Didn't one dude say it on Twitter? It wasn't even a "well-connected" journalist this time. All we know for sure is that Foster is in charge of ABs, MacDonald is taking the AB XV to Europe, and Razor isn't even in the frame. Foster said some changes were coming but that could be anything from a change in his breakfast menu to a reshuffle of duties by the existing coaches.
Razor was offered the All Blacks VX apparently, but seem coaching the Baabaas maybe worth a bit more coin?
Razor is just following NZR advice to get international coaching experience?
-
@Stargazer although weren't there rumours he had tried to get some others on his team too, such as Brown?
-
@taniwharugby Who's "he" in your post?
-
@Stargazer Foster.
-
Interestingly, Schmidt hired plumtree during his Ireland tenure.
They should have made all these changes at the end of 2021.
Better make a difference fast, don’t want the Eden park hoodoo and the bled going either.

Edit: if you click on the article, the real title of it is: "Scott Robertson reveals Tony Brown turndown"
Edit 2: Foster seems to have approached him as well, according to this article in the Ferald:

Retained:
Foster (Chiefs)
McLeod (Chiefs)
Cane (Chiefs)Mark Robinson: "No, you're not getting fucking John Mitchell!"
..with his 82% AB coaching record Foster might feel a tad threatened.
Mitchell: Record: 28 tests, 23 wins, 1 draw, 4 losses. Gee, he lost every seventh test. What I'd give for that at the moment. -
@nostrildamus John Mitchell was a defence coach for England in the last World Cup. Been tipping him for a role with the Abs when they take on England. Would really like to see Wayne Smith brought in.

I'd really like to know what the problem with Feek was. The scrum has been solid since he took over, and certainly no worse than under Cron. Ryan taking over the forwards has to be a huge improvement.
Did I miss something? Thought it was just Moar and Plumtree who've been arsed.

@Higgins Feek is still there. Just rumours that he reviewed poorly.
Ah. Thought so.
