He starts his AB contract right now. So no other logistics needed.
Does he want a head coach role though?
@Duluth I know you can't answer that but I'm not convinced he wants a head coach role, so we are either stuck with Foster or we go to Razor with Schmidt taking the reigns short term. I'd love for Schimidt to take over for what it's worth.

And I don't think those s almost guaranteed losses will make him go. We will have to lose twice to Oz, including at Eden, and lose the bled before he goes. Otherwise he's in until RWC, out in the quarters

He's got a loooong time to go before he gets anywhere near Foster's reign of trouble (And Stead has had no impact on my enjoyment of ND games

NZ led the way on this. Others followed. Then improved on it.
Time for NZRU to take some lessons from others and build again.

Before we had a player run team we had headmaster Ted dictating things. The player leadership group from 2011 to 2015 was chock full of GOATs. The current lot are a shadow of those guys and a firmer hand is required

Shane Jurgensen was the stand-in head coach for this series. Stead also being rested along with some of the players. As much as the close results were a bit of a heart stopper (a) they were still wins, and (b) they'd have to do that for two decades to get near Foster's level of kill-joy-ness...
