I went along to watch Fraser Tech vs University. As the score suggests FT controlled the game. University made too many handling errors when they had the ball.

TA has spent the money.

Hautapu has been missing a lot of their Waikato players at the backend of the season. No Mitch Jacobson, for example. Thinking ahead to the Waikato season, I hope he is not injured.

THE SEQUEL

A year after North Shore snuck home over Takapuna in a thrilling 2021 decider, the two old foes will square off again in the CMP Construction Premier 1 final.

Takapuna have been the form team all competition and will be riding high after a dominant win over Northcote in the semifinal, while North Shore scraped past Massey in a dramatic encounter to keep their hopes of back-to-back titles alive.

So get along to North Harbour Stadium this Saturday to support the two teams and to see who lifts the trophy.

In Counties, Patumahoe play Manurewa. Manurewa haven't won since the 90's when they used to dominate.

In Waikato Division 2 comp. Old Boys Guzzlers lost to Hamilton Marist. Player/coach Marty Holah. Ends 7 years undefeated.

Takapuna won the Harbour competition 29 - 19 over North Shore.

Fraser Tech only lost 2 games all year, both to Hamilton Old Boys.
