Napier get a line-out and go for the driving maul, but it goes backward. They keep possession, but haven't gained any territory.

In the other game, Rotorua concede a penalty and Hastings Boys go for the line-out.

Napier looked to attack well, but Hamilton turn the ball over. Napier penalised and Hamilton go for the line-out.

Hastings pick and go, looked good, but Rotorua steal the ball and the clearnce kick goes far. It has been touched so Rotorua get the line-out. Knock on. Hastings' scrum.

Napier get a line-out; it's good and they go for the driving maul. It's messy and Napier get another penalty.

Hastings hot on attack no, but Josh Leach is held up. The maul is still moving in Rotorua's direction. Then it goes down near the try line and Rotorua get the penalty.

Napier's line-out is deemed not straight. Hamilton scrum.

Hamilton's clearance kick doesn't go out and Napier have possession.

Rotorua's clearance kick didn't initially go out, but it eventually does via a Hastings' player.
Hastings regain possesion and are attacking again.

Another Napier line-out on Hamilton's 5m. The driving maul goes backward and sideways, but one of Napier's players goes for a run and he scores! Great try. Commentator thinks it may be Napier's no. 8 who scored.

Berkett can't convert.
