Surely Kruis is now a bolter for the tour?
-
@Catogrande I thought Marcus Smith played well behind a beaten pack. Perhaps the openness of the game suited him. Thatās with the halfback not helping his cause too. Randall was poor
The ruck work looked a lot better when Lawes came on, but the damage had already been done and the confidence in the Baabaaās was sky high.
-
Some of those BaaBaa tries were fantastic to watch.
There'll be a few Englishmen hoping Eddie is blaming others for that, rather than them.
-
All at sea
Is Mutiny on the cards?
-
Yeah, Smith was one of the few, occasional, bright sparks but overall a really poor forward performance, backed up by a number of individual clumsy errors. Anything Eddie found out about that experimental side would have been a ādonāt botherā decision.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/61863940Underwhelming England squad. With the Wallabies looking to continue their strong form from the middle of last year (with Quade and Samu available) could it be 3-0?
That would be quite the turnaround from Eddie's first tour 6 years ago where they themselves won 3 zip in Australia.

Well there's what I would like, which will probably be similar to most people's selection and then there's who I think Eddie will pick.
My 23 would be:
Starters: Steward, Cockanisiga, Marchant, Farrel, Arundell, Smith, Care, Genge LCD, Stuart, Hill, Itoje, Willis, B Vunipola, Curry.
Bench: M Vunipola, George, Schickerling, Lawes, Underhill, Randall, Freeman, Dingwall.
What I think Eddie will go for:
Starters: Steward, May, Dingwall/Porter, Farrell, Marchant, Smith, Randall, Genge, George, Stuart, Ewels, Itoje, Lawes, B Vunipola, Curry.
Bench: M Vunipola, LCD, Heyes, Isiekwe, Chessum, Ludlam, Care, Furbank.

@MiketheSnow Was it RA's take or was this the popular vote? I know he was doing a vote.

Think that was his first selection before the vote

In which case, imo, heās no fucking analyst. Ludlum over Curry or Underhill = loss at openside. Curry over Billy V = loss at 8. Platt the guys where their strengths lie. Ludlum is o good 6 and and ok 7. Not our best 6 and nowhere near our best 7. Curry is a great 7, a bloody good 6 and not a no8ās arsehole. Why would you pick that combo?
Aus play a high tempo game and weāve seen god knows his many times that simply trying to tie them down to a slower tempo doesnāt work unless you have both the players and the game plan.
Weād be fucked with that selection. Mind you, I think weāre fucked anyway. Iād just like to see us in play some rugby whilst being fucked.

I did it by the numbers
6 Lawes
7 Curry
8 Ludlum -
Ah. Ok. Still not good though. Ludlum=6. Never an 8. And fuck those that say all the back row positions are interchangeable.
